Expansionul va cuprinde cateva mii de schimbari si aditii, un level up de pana in 70 si doua noi rase, dranei si blood elfii.

Dupa carti scrise, recent un film in productie, Blizzard a strans din Warcraft o multime de informatii si a creat o enciclopedie postata pe site-ul oficial Worldofwarcraft.com.

Proiectul la care lucreaza Blizzard a fost amanat pana spre inceputul anului viitor, la fel cum ar fi trebuit sa se intemple si cu Gothic 3. Insa cu Gothic 3, e alta poveste.

Mike Morhaime (Blizz president): said that the delay would allow Blizzard to "extend the closed beta test and further refine the new content that will ship with the game".
He added: "We feel confident that the extra time spent polishing the game will result in the high-quality experience that our players expect and deserve."

Competitia World Cyber Games-ului de Warcraft3 de anul acesta s-a incheiat, castigator fiind tot WE.IGE.Sky (Sky).
Cei doi finalisti, Sky si 4K^ToD (China-Franta) au jucat finala pe Twisted Meadows si Terenas Stand, Sky castigandu-le pe amandoua.
